Durable and Workable Material

Doors, panels and pilasters will not warp, chip, delaminate or flake, and minor damage and defacement can be successfully repaired. Hadrian's metal partitions hold fasteners better than other substrates.

Full Honeycomb Core

Doors, panels and pilasters are structurally reinforced with 1" (25mm) cell honeycomb bonded from top to bottom and edge to edge throughout their entire core. The honeycomb reinforcement enhances strength, sound absorption and overall impact resistance.

Locking Bar Edge Moulding

All components are tack welded and interlocked under tension with a roll-formed oval crown locking bar for continuous bonding and a permanent, hygienic seal.

High Quality, Concealed Hardware

All brackets and door hardware components are zinc die-cast and triple plated with copper, nickel and chrome to a gleaming finish. Pilaster shoes are a one-piece welded design of polished stainless steel. Hinges and latches are set within the thickness of the door for sanitary, easy maintenance and modern styling.

Barrier-free Latch

Hadrian's exclusive thumb-turn lever conforms to American Disability Act (ADA) and Canadian barrier-free requirements. It can be activated with a short, easy movement and without finger grip application.

Emergency Access

Both standard and barrier-free latch designs allow access from the exterior in case of emergency. The design is minimal for appearance, easy cleaning and resistance to vandalism. The "Hadrian" name assists maintenance staff in locating the source for replacement parts.

Reinforced Headrail Braced Pilaster Tops

An added 20-gauge channel creates extra strength and twist-free rigidity to minimize the possibility of damage by handling and shipping.

Anti-Grip Headrail

Extruded aluminum headrail offers maximum strength, rigidity and a clean line appearance. Its double-ridge anti-grip design deters boisterous activity and consequent damage while offering a smooth track for shower curtain hooks.

Metal Hinge Pin with Nylon Sleeve

The metal core of Hadrian's upper hinge pin provides sturdy support, while the self-lubricating nylon sleeve ensures smooth, quiet operation. The threaded pin can be easily removed and reinserted if necessary.

Our powder-coated metal toilet partitions offer the best value in the industry. Made of high-quality galvanized steel – the same steel they use to make utility polls – our partitions are impervious to rust. They're powder-coated using the most advanced processes in the industry. The unfinished toilet partitions are thoroughly cleaned and go through a phosphatizing and electrical charging process, causing the powdered paint to uniformly cling to the partition surface. Finally, the bathroom stall pieces are sent through the oven, permanently hardening the coating and leaving a gleaming, consistent finish that's resistant to impacts and common cleaning chemicals.

Construction
Doors, Panels and Pilasters shall be constructed of two sheets of panel flatness zinc-coated galvanneal steel, ASTM A653 GR33, laminated under pressure to a honeycomb core for sound deadening and rigidity. Formed edges to be welded together and inter-locked under tension with a roll-formed oval crown locking bar, mitred, welded and ground smooth at the corners. Honeycomb to have a maximum 25mm (1") cell size.

Doors
Shall be 25mm (1") thick with cover sheets not less than 0.8mm (.030").

Panels
Shall be 25mm (1") thick with cover sheets not less than 0.8mm (.030").

Pilasters
Shall be 32mm (1.25") thick with cover sheets not less than 0.9mm (.036").

Headrail
Shall be 25mm (1") by 41mm (1.625") extruded anodized aluminum with anti-grip design. Wall thickness to be 1.5mm (.060") and shall be securely attached to wall and pilasters with manufacturer's fittings in such a way as to make a strong and rigid installation. All joints in headrails shall be made at a pilaster.

Pilaster Fastening Method
Pilasters shall be securely and rigidly fastened to the floor and fitted with a jack leveling screw for vertical adjustment. The floor fastening shall be concealed and protected by a 102mm (4') high, die-formed stainless steel pilaster shoe.

Hardware & Fittings
All panel and pilaster brackets and all door hardware shall be chrome-plated zinc die castings. Fasteners are zinc plated 12 x 1-3/4" and 12 x 5/8" TR-27 6-lobe security screws. Doors shall be equipped with gravity-type hinges mounted on upper and lower pilaster hinge brackets. Door hinges shall be fully concealed within the thickness of the door and adjustable to permit the door to come to rest at any position when not latched. Threaded upper hinge pin shall have a metal core and self-lubricating nylon sleeve to ensure smooth, quiet operation. Each door is to be fitted with a combined coat hook and bumper and a concealed latch, with face mortised flush with edge strip of door. The combined stop and keeper shall have a 19mm (0.75") diameter bumper locked in place.

Finish
All sheet metal is to be thoroughly cleaned, phosphated and finished with a high-performance powder coating, baked on to provide a uniform, smooth protective finish. The color shall be as selected from Hadrian's color card.
